Through the dawn of man Witches and Warlocks
have existed. Long before there were organized religions there were
people who worshiped the Earth and it's Natural bounty. These people
helped heal the sick, learning of the various ways to make potions to cure
ailments. Some were able to see into the future other able to move
things it seemed with their minds.
So much has been written and disproved
and the truth buried that it is difficult to actually come up with what
was really the main form of witchcraft. With the dawn of religions
witches were looked upon as yet another form of believers. Many
kings and queens had witches or warlocks with them to heal, or divine into
the future what battles or their lives might be like.
Damned for many reasons hundreds of
thousands of people were killed through out the ages. Whether it was
because people were scared of their abilities or if it was something more
sinister as a simple grudge Witches have learned to live amongst the
people who have feared them.
Closely linked with other types, normally
Lycanthropes, witches have stayed off the mainstream radar for many
years. It does not mean however that they have just been sitting
still. The society of witchcraft as a whole is as intertwined as
ever. Strong to the end witches still have the power some believe
over life and death itself.
